The Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for our staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and compliance. This role will also involve conducting service audits to monitor the effectiveness of staff training and business operations including adherence to protocols.
Candidate must hold:
- Certificate in Education and Training (Level 3)
- PTLLS
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop training programs based on the company’s needs and employee skill gaps.
- Create instructional materials, such as manuals, guides.
- Update and modify training content to reflect changes in legislation, policies, processes, and tools.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for new and existing employees.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using feedback, surveys, and assessments.
- Use a variety of teaching methods (e.g., presentations, role-playing, group discussions, hands-on training).
- Provide one-on-one or group coaching as necessary.
- Service Audits, Conduct regular service audits to ensure that staff are following established protocols and procedures.
- Identify areas of improvement through audits and recommend changes to operational procedures.
- Report on training activities, audit findings, and outcomes to senior management.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and new training techniques.
- Continuously assess office operations and identify areas for improvement through training and audits.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, service audits, and employee progress including training Matrix.
Successful Candidate Must Be:
- A proactive and enthusiastic trainer with excellent communication skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and able to engage employees effectively.
- Experienced in delivering training in a professional setting.
- Able to conduct service audits and assess the compliance and performance of employees.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experienced in health and social care, with knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Salary: £29,200 per year
Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00, with occasional weekend or evening work as required.
